Dalia Wood

أنا معالجة نفسية مرخصة أتحدث العربية ، أعمل مع مختلف الأعمار وبالأخص مع المراهقين والكبار من الذكور والاناث ، أتعامل مع العديد من المشكلات النفسية. أعمل مع الحالات التي تعرضت لصدمات نفسيه خلال مراحل حياتها بالاضافه الأشخاص الذين يعانون من الإكتئاب والقلق. هذا بالاضافة الى     العمل مع الأزواج الذين يعانون من المشكلات الزواجية بمختلف أنواعها

Specialties: Youth (12 +) & Adults, Families, Trauma, EMDR, Family of Origin,  Anxiety, Depression, Relationships, OCD, Transition, Cultural Transitions and Adaptations.

Background: Dalia is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Masters degree in Spiritual care and Psychotherapy from Martin Luther University in Waterloo, Ontario.  She loves to travel, cook, learn and spend time with others.

Therapeutic styles: Dalia understands that everyone is unique and is on their journey to healing. She supports individuals as an empathic and knowledgeable therapist. My role is to use my education and experience to assist you in reaching your goals. Together, we will tap into your strengths to find new perspectives to live the life you are hoping for. She provides clients with assistance, guidance, and knowledge that they’re not alone in the process

Treatment modalities: Dalia uses an integrative therapeutic approach with a focus on cultural awareness with a focus on trauma. She uses Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotion-Focused family Therapy (EFFT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Annika

Annika Heywood

Registered Social Worker

Background: Annika is a registered social worker (OCSWSSW). Outside of therapeutic practice, I can be found exploring nature with my husband and son, practicing yoga, or enjoying a good book.

Therapeutic styles: Annika provides a compassionate presence throughout challenges that life may present us with.  She believes that we are all on a unique journey and that speaking with someone about our inner experiences can lead to insights and understanding that can help to access our internal wisdom and skills. We don’t have to do it alone. 

Treatment modalities: My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed. My practice is informed by narrative therapy, CBT, solution-focused, DBT, and somatic therapy.  I am passionate about the mind-body connection and the influence this has on our well-being.

Danielle Di Francesco

Specialties: Anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions

Therapeutic style: I aim to provide a warm and compassionate environment where you can feel understood without fear of judgment. In therapy, we will collaboratively determine what your goals are and work together to find new insights and perspectives or gain strategies in areas of life where you are feeling stuck. I hope to help you connect with your inner needs, and help you improve your relationship with yourself and others.

Background: Danielle is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered

Psychotherapists of Ontario and works virtually with clients from across Ontario. She holds a Master’s

degree in Counselling & Spirituality from Saint Paul University in Ottawa. Outside of therapy she

enjoys trying out new sports and working on art projects.

Treatment modalities: Danielle works from an attachment-based and trauma informed lens. Danielle uses a collaborative, integrative approach and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), person-centered and solution-focused therapies to help you initiate

change in your life.

Marina Andrawis

Background: Marina is a Registered Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed her Masters degree in Social Work at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.  She loves to learn about other cultures, bake, paint and spend time with friends.

Therapeutic styles: Marina understands that every person is different in their own way due to their unique experiences and circumstances. I strive to empower people to help themselves achieve mastery over their lives through fostering self- awareness. We will work as a team to understand the main issues and create a manageable plan to achieve goals. She provides clients with a safe space to explore their inner selves.

Treatment modalities: Marina uses Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a culturally sensitive lens.
